Flowers say hello from the heart

Hi everyone,
we got back yesterday from our holliday to a familypark near the Dutch coast and we had a fabulous time. The weather was great, our cottage was situated at the harbor so we had felt like we were in a sub-tropical country. We did do a lot of fun things so the week was over before we knew it. I did take my lap-top and some crafting supplies but I didn't had time for any of those things. the only time we spend in our cottage was at night and then I was to tired to do anything.
Couldn't use the lap-top because we didn't have internet access overthere, so I probably will spend whole weekend behind it catching up on everything.
This weeks challenge on the Dutch Dare Cards Challenge is to use cutting dies and/or punches.
This is what I came up with.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.

Sketch #38 at JCBC blog

Goodmorning everyone,
after a very hot week, the temperatures have dropped to a normal level (23C).
Today it's the first day of the vacation and I'm taking the girls to a playground today. The weather forcast tells that there will be rain the next few days so we have planned this trip for today.
At the Just Christmas and Birthday cards challenge we have a great sketch for you to follow. This week I had to create a christmas card, which isn't easy when a icecream turns into a milkshake within a few minutes with those high temperatures.
For my card I used papers from Scenic Route, cute Hanglar images from the winterkit and some cute stars from a Dutch local shop called Zeeman.
We we're off to the playground.
Thanks for stopping by today,
xoxo Karin

Scrap Online Challenge

Happy Friday everyone,
it's still very hot overhere (31C in the shadow). Yesterday afternoon I bought the girls a large pool, and they are having so much fun in it. This morning at 8.30 AM they already had their first swim.
I think I will join them after doing this post.
Last night we had another fun SOL at Scrap Online Challenges on PCP.
Because of the high temperatures I kept it very simple.
For my card I used papers from S.E.I. and cardstock from Color Core.
Cute little Gretel is a download from CC-designs. I coloured her with aqua pencils and used paperstumps and sansodor for blending. Sentiment is also from CC-designs.
Leavepunch is from??? and flowers and brad are from stash.
The sketch of this card posted as a challenge on Scrap Online Challenge so all you ladies can create a card following it.

I'm going to join my girls in their pool right now and try to cool down a little bit.

Have a great weekend,

xoxo Karin

Dutch Dare Challenge #55: a sketch by Cathy

Happy Thursday everyone,
today is my last day of quietness. Starting tomorrow the girls will be home for 6 weeks. So I probably will have to slow down on crafting and blogging, because we have planned some fun things for the girls during those 6 weeks. And with those abnormale high temperatures I really don't think I will be up for crafting very much.
Starting this week we will be posting a new challenge on the Dutch Dare Challenges every other week. So this weeks challenge will stay up for 2 weeks. Gives you plenty time to create a card following a great sketch provided by Cathy.

Before I will leave you all, I wanted to show you a photo of our ADHD Jacky cooling down in a small tub (we have a very small garden). When we start filling it with water she's the first one in it and the last one to leave. The girls put in some toys and Jacky will get them all out, and this repeats itself several times.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great Thursday.

Sketch #38 on the JCBC blog

Hi everyone,
I hope you all are enjoying your week sofar. Overhere it's very hot and I try to stay cool/relaxed by doing just the most important things. Even sitting behind my computer makes me sweat. The best thing to do is to sit on the couch doing really nothing.
When I turned on my computer this morning and wanted to prepare my post for tomorrow I saw that I completely forgot to make a post about the new challenge on the JCBC blog. This week we have a great sketch provided by Janina.
For my card I used papers from Imaginisce and Papcicolor. The cute image is from Pink Cat Studio and flowers are from Prima.
Thanks for stopping by today,
xoxo Karin

Thanks for being my friend

Happy Sunday everyone,
it's a beautifull Sunday morning overhere and hopefully it will stay this way for the rest of the day. After having to work yesterdayafternoon, I'm really looking forward in spending a nice quiet day in our garden (the one with no plants in it!!).
The girls spend the night at my parents and I have to pick them up in a few hours. Gives me time to make a quick post showing you a card I created.
This card suits the following challenges (wow it's been a while since I made a card for more then 1 challenge).
Charisma Cardz: a open challenge

Card Recipe:

Papers: We R Memory Keepers - Madam royale - , Bo Bunny - Back to Backs-

Stamps: download from CC-designs - cute little Heidi, Sentiment from CC-designs

Technique: aqua pencils, paperstimps and sansodor

A triangle card for the DDCC #54

Goodmorning everyone,
it's another beautifull day here in holland, so I'm going to keep this short (going to enjoy the sun outside for a while).
This week we have another great challenge over at the Dutch Dare Cards Challenges.... A TRIANGLE CARD!!
After cutting my card and colouring the image (a cute Whipper Snapper), I realised there wasn't much space left for a lot of embellishments. My card was finished pretty soon after assembling the few pieces I had.

Told you it was going to be a short post.

Thanks for stopping by today,

xoxo Karin

Sketch # 37 on JCBC challenge

Hi everyone,
I know I'm a day late with my DT-card for the Just Christmas and Birthday Cards Challenge, and at first I didn't want to create one this week, but this morning I had a little time before getting the girls from school so I decided to make one after all. With the weather finally getting better it's so strange to make christmas cards. I think I already have 20 of them finished so by the time everybody gets stressed out because they don't have enough time to make all their christmas cards I can sit back and relax.
This week we have a great sketch created by our guestdesigner Anne.
for my card I used only a few pieces of DP - DCVW - the image is coloured with aqua pencils which I blended with paperstumps and Sansodor.

Thanks for stopping by today,

xoxo Karin

SOL Challenge #6

Happy Friday everyone,
yesterday we had another fun SOL on PCP.
We did a easy card, but this week we had to do some stitching on it. Just when I was posting the last steps for the card, they did shut down PCP for maintenance. Perfect timing!!
Today the sketch we used for our cards is posted on Scrap Online Challenges. I'm looking forward in seeing your creations.
For my card I used some very old papers from Scenic Route. The cute Aloha stamp is from Pink Cat Studio and the flowers, brads and spacers are from stash.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a great weekend,

xoxo Karin

A colourinspiration challenge on the DDCC

Hi Everyone,
Can't believe it's Thursday already. Days are going by so very fast, I'm searching Ebay if someone is selling time (LOL).
I spend alomost whole morning in cleaning up my craftroom. It was such a mess, couldn't find anything anymore. Looks much better right now, but still have a lot of work to do.
But now it's time for lunch and my post for the Dutch Dare.
This week we have a colourinspiration challenge for you.
Wilma found this great picture somewhere on the internet and we want you to create a card inspired by this photo.
This is the card I created for the challenge.
Papers are from S.E.I (love the colours!!!), image is a Gorjuss (my favorite at the moment), sentiment is from CC-designs and I made the crochetted flowers myself.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Hugs,

xoxo Karin

My first Rakle card for the Scrapmagasinet Challenge

Hi Everyone,
I finally got the chance to ink up my first Rakle image. I love those tall funny shaped images. The one I'm using today represents me on Sunday mornings (and sometimes when I'm very lazy even the Sunday afternoons).
I made this card for the Scrapmagasinet challenge. There's a fabulous sketch made by Heather.
The papers I used are from My Yellow Bicycle and the stamp (as I mentioned before) is a Rakle. Flowers, spacers and brads are from stash.
Want to buy one of those funny stamps yourself??.... check out Nikki's (AKA Bunny- Zoe) brand new shop. She sells a wide range of those funny stamps, and starting July so also has Bildmalarna's, Greeting Farm, High Hopes and Pink Cat Studio stamps on stock.
To visit her store just click on the logo.

Thanks for stopping by today and see you all Thursday with my DT-card for the Dutch Dare Card Challenge.

xoxo Karin

Sketch #36 on Just Christmas and Birthday Cards Challenge

Goodmorning everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend.
Ours went by way to fast. Saturday I had to work as usual and it was very busy for a change. Love being busy at work, otherwise it the afternoon will take forever. Just a few more weeks before everybody is going on vacation and then it will be long days at work. Mayby I should take some craftingsupplies with me to get through the days at work (lol).
Yesterday we went to the fair with the whole family. The girls had a great afternoon and it was hard to convince them that all the money was gone and that it was time to go home. Can't believe how expensive a afternoon at the fair is. I'm glad it's only once a year otherwise I had to take another job just to pay for those events.
This weeks sketch on the JCBC blog is provided by Mada.
The papers I used for my card are from October Afternoon, the cute little deer stamp is from We R Memory Keepers which is coloured with pro-markers. The sentiment is from CC-designs and gems and ribbon are from stash.

Thanks for stopping by today,

xoxo Karin

Scrap Online Challenge

Happy Friday everyone,
Nice of you to stop by today.
Yesterday we had another fun SOL at Scrap Online on PCP.
The ladies amazed me once again with their beautifull cards.
This weeks we used a pretty easy sketch but it still takes the ladies up to 1 1/2 hour to finish their cards.
This is the card I created for this challenge.
I used papers from Imaginisce - Summer Cool - (love the fresh happy colours), the cute butterfly stamp is one from CC-designs (isn't she adorable?) and I coloured her with pro-markers and copics, letter stickers are from a local Dutch Shop called Zeeman and all the butterflies are from stash.
Today this sketch is featured on Scrap Online Challenge as this weeks challenge for you.
I'm looking forward in seeing your card following this sketch.

I'm also entering this card for this weeks challenge on A Spoon Full Of Sugar where they ask us to use butterflies on our card.

Please don't forget to enter our 1st anniversary challenge at the Dutch Dare Cards Challenge.

This week we ask you to make a charity card for one of the seriously ill kids featured on Post Pals. Hop over to the DDCC to read more about Post-Pals.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend.

1st Anniversary on the Dutch Dare: A card for Charity

Hi Everyone
This week the Dutch Dare Card Challenges is celebrating their 1st anniversary.
Thanks to everyone who helped us getting there. It was a fabulous 1st year with so many beautifull cards entered.

To celebrate our 1st anniversary we have a very special challenge....

A Charity Card
A few weeks back I received a email from a lady who's a volunteer for Post Pals.

They ask people from all over the world to send a cheer up card to serious ill children (most are having cancer or are waiting for a tranplant).
If you want to read the whole email just hop over to the Dutch Dare were we've published the whole email.

The DT-members are going to send their cards to one of the children and we would appreciate it if you could do the same with your card and spread the word about this very special challenge on your blog. Hopefully we will have a lot of kids smiling over the next few weeks. If you go to their website and just follow their instructions.

We have some really nice prizes for some of you. Curious.... go to the Dutch Dare blog and find out what prizes we have this week.

For my card I used the beautifull papers from Bo-Bunny and made stitches ( all done by hand) around the edges.

The cute little lady bug is from Bella Stamps.

I really hope you all are joining us this week, because I really think it's a great cause.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.

xoxo Karin

Happy Hollidays

Hi Everyone,
I'm sorry I'm a day late with my DT-Card for the Just Christmas and Birthday Cards Challenge.
Our computer which holds the programm for uploading photo's is having a lot of trouble starting up. So the past few days we only used the lap-top. Today I was lucky it would start, so just a quick post before it decides to stop again.
This week we have great sketch from Simone for you to follow.
For my card I used not so traditional christmas colours again.
Papers are from K and Company (I think), the cute image is coloured with pro-markers and copics, flowers are for Prima and the brad and stars are from stash.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs,
xoxo Karin

Scrap Online Challenge #4

Goodmorning everyone,

last night we had another fun SOL at Scrap Online on PCP.

Because I had so little time this week to prepapre this SOL, we did a very easy card but with beautifull results.
To make it a little more difficult I added a additional challenge.....
USE PURPLE AND/OR GREEN ON YOUR CARD

This is the card I created for last nights SOL.

The papers I used are from Bo-Bunny -Penny Lane-, again a sweet gorjuss image coloured with Pro-markers and Copics, the purple flowers are from Petaloo and the green one is from Making Memories.
Curious about all the other cards that the ladies created on this SOL????
Hop over to Scrap Online Challenge where this sketch and 5 other beautifull cards are published as this weeks challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Dutch Dare #51: Decorate the inside of your card

goodmorning everyone,
remember I told you we were going on a couch hunt last Monday?.... well we got home without one. Can't believe how much a simple couch costs. OK, if you don't have 2 little girls and a dog with ADHD then it really isn't that much, but we were looking for a simple couch which would last about 3 years. If you have to pay 1500 euro's for a 2 and a 3 seat couch it is a bit too much. Because we don't feel like shopping again, we are looking for a couch on the internet.
Hopefully we'll find one before the one we have now will fall apart.
This weeks challenge on the Dutch Dare is to decorate the inside of your card.
For my card I used papers from Bo-Bunny and Fancy Pants and 2 gorjuss images who were send to me by a friend (thanks!!!!). Both images are coloured with Pro-markers and Copics.

Tonight there will be another SOL on PCP.
If you want to join me for a online crop, just become a member ogf the SOL-group and be there at 7.30 PM - London time -
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day,
xoxo Karin

Sketch #34 on Just Christmas and Birthday Cards

Happy Monday everyone,
Happy Monday??? For most people the worst day of the week, because the weekend is over and they all have to go back to the normal things in life. But for me it's weekend. A short one (just today) but still it's weekend. Today we are going on a couch hunt. The one we have is barely holding it together and we are affraid it will fall apart if the girls keep jumping on it a few more weeks.
Hopefully it won't take all day because the weather is going to great today, so it would be nice if we could take the girls to a playground too.
Today we have a great new sketch on the JCBC blog created by Tanja.
This week I had to make a birhtday card, and I managed to make one for a boy!!! Verly rarely, because I always having a lot of trouble making one for a boy. But I think this one is really cool.
Well I'm off to get us prepared for our couch hunt.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day,
xoxo Karin

The glitter letters are from a local Dutch shop called Zeeman and the flowers and buttons are from stash.

I hope you all will have a great weekend, overhere it's a long weekend ( But unfortunatily I have to work Saturday and Sunday morning/afternoon) hubby is free untill Tuesday and the girls have to get back to school on Wednesday. Hopefully we will have some time to something fun with the girls.

Goodmorning,

Just a real quick post today, because I'm off to bed again in a few minutes.

Some exciting news and a little candy

THIS POST WILL STAY ON TOP UNTILL MAY 25.
SCROLL DOWN FOR ALL THE NEW POSTS
CANDY IS CLOSED
Hi everyone,
I have some really exciting news to share.
As some of you already know I'm hosting a Scrap Online Group at Paper Craft Planet. On this group we are making a card or any other small project online, following instructions given every 5 - 10 minutes.
It's so much fun doing this together at the same time and to see each others cards wen they are finished.
The only sad thing about it, is that ladies who don't live in Europe aren't able to follow these SOL's because of the timedifference.
But now for the exciting news....
There's a new challengeblog called
On this challenge blog we will be posting the sketches/ projects we worked on the day after the SOL as a challenge.
This way the ladies who weren't able to attend the SOL will have the chance to do the challenge. You can work on the sketch on your own, but if you want to have all measurements of the different parts you just hop over to the SOl from the night before and scroll down al the comments.
First challenge will posted Friday May 15th.
To celebrate this new chalengeblog I have a little candy for one lucky lady entering.
a few weeks back I made this gorgeous Hanglar stampprint box.
This box will be filled with some yummie things and prints....

.... But the best part is that is it also contains those 2 cute Hanglar stamps.

This candy is open to everybody (I ship worldwide).

I would be happy if you became a member of the Scrap Online Group, a follower of the new challengeblog and if you could spread the word about the new challengeblog and Scrap Online Group on your blog.

Candy Closes at Monday May 25th.

Winner will be announced the day after.

Good luck to all of you,

xoxo Karin

Just Christmas and Birthday Cards sketch # 33

Goodmorning everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend with lots of nice warm weather.
Today it's going to be another hot day (probably the last one this week) so after this post I'm going to do some quick housekeeping things and then I will give my milkbottles a bit of sunshine.
Today we have a great sketch on the JCBC challenge blog provided by our guestdesigner Nessy.
This week it was my turn to create a christmas card and this is what I came up with.

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day,

xoxo Karin

DT-Call at Nutshells

Happy Sunday everyone,
we really had a nice day at home today. The weather was great, the girls were enjoying themselfs playing with their new Winx-club Wii game and outside with their friends, and Ron and I enjoyed a great day in our garden (the one witout plants!!!).
My parents came over for a short visit and after they left we finally got the chance to light up our BBQ.
Before my parents arrived I was working on a card for the DT-Call over at Nutshells. They have got a great range of new Nutshells on their way but before they bring them out, they are looking for a Design Team.
Entering this call is very easy: download the cute image they posted on the Nutshell's blog, and creat a card following the great sketch Nikki (Bunny-Zoe) has made for this call.
And while you're on the Nutshell's blog, don't forget to enter their fabulous blogcandy.
One lucky winner will receive 4 brandnew Nutshell stamps from the new Summer Collection and a selection of imaginisce flowers.
Here's the card I created. I'm not completely satisfied with the way it turned-out because I think it's a bit plain. But it looks a lot better then the first card I made, the one that ended up in the bin.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and see you all tomorrow with my card for the Just Christmas and Birthday Cards Challenge.

Scrap Online Challenge #2

It's almost weekend!!!!!

Hopefully you all have some time to enter this weeks challenge over at Scrap Online Challenges.

Yesterday we worked on a really great card at Scrap Online on Paper Craft Planet. Because it was a pretty big project I asked the ladies to cut all the pieces in advance so we wouldn't spend most of the night cutting. The ladies worked really hard and I was amazed by all the fabulous cards they created. I have the advantage to take my time on my card because I'm the one who's hosting the SOL, but those ladies have to gather cardstock, papers, images etc without knowing what we will be making. A big compliment to you girls, your cards are fabulous.

Now it's your turn to create a card following the sketch we used on yesterday's SOL on SCRAP ONLINE CHALLENGES.

If want to use the exact measurements hop over to the Scrap Online Group and work your way through the comments of yesterday's SOL, but you are welcome to figure out everything on your own.
Optional addition to this Challenge is:

USE A PHOTO ON YOUR CARD

(don't feel obligated to use a photo, using a image is just as great)

Here's the card I created for the SOL.

Have a great weekend,

xoxo Karin

Dutch Dare #49 : bling bling and/or glitter on your card

Goodmorning everyone,

This weeks challenge on the Dutch Dare is...

USE BLING-BLING AND/OR GLITTER ON YOUR CARD

I'm sure all of you have some of those things in your stash.

For my card I used a postcard I purchased a long time ago at a local shop. Thought I would go perfectly with this cute little geisha stamp, and great black and red flowers.

Now I had almost everything for my card, but still no glitter or bling-bling. Then I rememberd the girls had a lot of glitter letters somewhere at their bedroom. So when they were at school yesterday I searched their bedroom and found them somewhere in the back of a closet (sshhhtt, don't tell them I found them).

Tonight there will be another SOL on Scrap Online at Paper Craft Planet. We start at 7.30 PM - London Time - and you are welcome to join us.

If you can't make it tonight I hope you will enter the Scrap Online Challenge. Tomorrow the card we will make tonight will be posted as a challenge.

Here's a little sneak-peak of tonights card.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope to see you tonight at the Scrap Online Group on Paper Craft Planet.

Sketch #32 on JCBC

Goodmorning everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and had some time to create a few cards.

Mine wasn't that exciting because I had to work both Saturday and Sunday. Today is my weekend, and I'm planning on doing a lot of catching up and a little bit of crafting.

Todays sketch on Just Christmas and Birthday Cards Challenge is provided my yours truly and at first I thought it was going to be a very easy card, but I spend over an hour embellishing it. The sketch shows no embellishments, but without any I thought it was very plain.

This is what I came up with.

Thanks for stopping by today,

xoxo Karin

Scrap Online and the 1st Scrap Online Challenge

Goodmorning everyone,
yesterday evening I did another SOL on Scrap Online at PCP.
Eventhough just Emma and Karen were there to follow the SOL I had a great time and was very surprised with the cards they created.
I'm hoping there will be more ladies atteniding in the near future, but even if there are just 2 or 3 ladies online I will keep doing this, just because I'm enjoying this very much.
This week we worked on the following sketch, which is posted as the first challenge on SCRAP ONLINE CHALLENGES today!!!
The day after the SOL the sketch/project will run as a challenge and everybody is welcome to enter.

For my card I used papers from Creamotion (love these bright coloured romantic papers) and did all the stitching by hand (again). To be able to finish your card on the night of the SOL and to be one of the first 5 published cards (the first 5 published cards will be shown on the challengeblog the day after as our SCRAP ONLINE DIVA's EXAMPLES) it's only possible to sew when you have a sewingmachine. It's really very timeconsuming to do this by hand.

The cute image is from Hanglar and I think it matches the papers perfectly. She's coloured with pro-markers and copics.

Flowers, ribbon and gem are from stash, sentiment is a sticker from Heidi Grace Designs and the leave punch is from MC. Gill.

Want to stay up-dated on the SOL's just become a member of the Scrap Online Group on PCP and you will receive a message when the next SOL is planned and what you'll be needing for it. The announcement of the next SOL and the list of supplies also will be published on Scrap Online Challenges a few days before the SOL is planned.

Hope to see a lot of cards on Scrap Online Challenges, there's a really cute Hanglar stamp for one lucky lady who's entering this weeks challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend,

xoxo Karin

Dutch Dare: blue, white and 1 ohter colour

Goodmorning everyone,

I hope you all had a great week sofar. For me it's weekend and today I have to do a lot of catching up on everything. Lately I never can seem to find the time to leave comments on everyones blogs. I always stop by my favorite ones very quickly , but I haven't got the time to comment. There's always something going on overhere. I've learned to live with fact that we almost never can plann things ahead and have to live day by day, but it really frustrates me sometimes that I don't even can make planns on the day itself.

Well enough about my frustrations and on to this weeks challenge on the Dutch Dare. This week we would like you to use the colours: brown - white - and 1 other colour.

For my card I used papers from Bo-Bunny (penny lane) and this adorable image from Whiff of Joy which is coloured with distress ink.

The large scalloped brown felt background is made with a nesties set and the cuttlebug. I was experimenting with those 3 things and discovered that felt could be used with your cuttlebug.

Hope you all have a nice day and see you all tomorrow with my card I made for tonight's SOL at PCP and the first challenge on Scrap Online Challenges.

If you would like to participate in tonight's SOL, just hop over to Scrap Online at PCP and join us.

xoxo Karin

Sketch #31 on Just Christmas and Birthday Cards

Hi everyone,
it's monday again and that means a new sketch on the JCBC blog.
This week we have a great sketch made by Rheannon.
This week I had to make a christmas card. So strange to be working on a christmascard when I'm sitting in my garden with my spaghetti-top, shorts and flip-flops on.
But anyhting for avoiding the stress of finshing my christmascards on time.
For my card I used this really cute Angel-stamp from CC-designs. I coloured her with pro-markers and a metallic pen I borrowed from the girls. Papers are from Bo-Bunny and the gems are from stash.
The stitching is done by hand, and I'm so happy to tell you that I will be having a sewingmachine very soon. Only thing is.. I have no idea how it works.
But you're never to old to learn, and in eventually it will save me a lot of time.

Thanks for stopping by today,

xoxo Karin

All That Scraps Wednesdaychallenge: 3x3 notebookbox

Happy Mothersday everyone!!
Sofar it's a great mothersday overhere.
Ron and the girls spoiled me with some very useable things for at home and both girls made me some beautifull cards/drawings.
Yesterday I spoiled myself at the Scrapbookatelier in Klarenbeek. New papers, cardstock and and a few great punches, which I hope to play with in the next couple of days.
This weeks challenge at the All That Scraps blog is to make a 3 x 3 notecard box. Earlier this week I saw those adorable new released cuties and had to buy them straight away. Becaue I don't want to wait about a week before the mailman delivers me the stamps I did get me the digital version.
Papers are from Imaginisce and Stampin Up.

Thanks for stopping by today en see you all tomorrow for the next challenge on the JCBC-Blog.

Scrap Online Card

Hi Everyone,

last night there was another SOL on Scrap Online at Paper Craft Planet.
We created a card following instructions posted every 5 - 10 minutes.
To make the challenge a little bigger I asked the ladies to combine this weeks SOL with 1 or more challenges which are posted on aal the different challengeblogs.
I managed to combine my SOL card with 2 other challenges.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar want you to use some fabric on your card. Well I've added 2 flowers made of felt on my card ( ithink that's counts as fabric) and at The Secret Crafter they want you to use flowers on your card (also on the card).

Card Recipe:

Papers: Cardstock- Color Core, DP - Basic Grey - Marakesh

Image: Magnolia

Technique: Distress Ink

Sentiment: Little Yellow Bicycle

Flowers: from stash

Hope you all have a great weekend,

Dutch Dare Challenge #47: A Mothersday Card

Goodmorning everyone,
I hope you all had a great week sofar. Overhere everything turned back to normal. The girls are back at school and I'm enjoying the quietness.
It's great to have the girls home, but it's also very nice when they are back at school.

This weeks challenge over at the Dutch Dare Challenge is to create a Mothersday Card.
For my card I used the gorgeous softcoloured papers from Bo-Bunny and My mind's Eye.
And I finally used one of the cute new Hanglar images from the Springkit. The sentiment is made on the computer and the flowers and buttons are from stash.

This weeks challenge at Our Creative Corner is just like at the DDCC 'Mothersday', so my card fitts that challenge perfectly.

Sketch #30 at the JCBC Blog

Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend. We had a great week at the familypark. The weather was great (just had a little bit of rain on Tuesday) and we did all kind of fun things, like swimming, visiting several palygrounds (indoor and outdoor), have some drinks at the plaza and we even spend a day shopping in Bocholt Germany.
Again it's been great, but it's also nice to be back home again.
Yesterday I had to make my DT-Card for the JCBC challenge and I had a real hard time getting started. I had a few ideas for my card, but all of them ended up in the bin.
After several attempts this is the best I could do. Still not happy with it, but hopefully my Mojo will return in the next couple of days.

Thanks for stopping by today,
xoxo Karin
