Cute little mermaid

Happy Friday everyone,
the weather is great overhere so we all are enjoying ourselfs in our backyard.
This is going to be a very short post because I want to go back to our backyard and relax a bit.
I want to show you a card I made yesterday. This cute little mermaid from CC-designs (the download version) was on my desk for a few weeks already waiting to be coloured. It took so long before I started to colour her because I didn't had the right papers for it. But Wednesday I received a fabulous RAK from my good friend Donna, and...... in it the perfect papers for this cute mermaid. I think they are from DCWV - the Citrus collection - (please correct me if I'm wrong about that).

This card fitts the following challenges:
Unscripted sketches - the sketch
Kaboodle doodles - use a digi image
Thanks for stopping by today and have a fabulous weekend.

Dutch Dare Challange 57: Use Lace on your card

Goodmorning everyone,
A new post again. Today we have a great new challenge for you over at the Dutch Dare Cards Challenge.
We want you to use LACE on your card. A great challenge... if you hve lace!
I have lots and lots of ribbons, but lace...?
I was getting worried I couldn't participate n this weeks challenge because of the lack of lace. But when I was cleaning out some drawers a few days back I found this fabulous piece of lace perfect for my card. I followed the sketch from Friday sketchers and I used one of my favorite image.. a very sweet Gorjus image. I coloured her with copic markers. The papers are from Luxe Designs, and the flowers are from Prima (caboodles).

Thanks for stopping by today,

xoxo Karin

Love you

Hi everyone,
thanks for stopping by today. I can't believe it's been over a week since my last post. Time is really flying by. Hardly spend any time at my computer or spend time crafting. The girls are keeping me pretty busy and we are our time together.
Yesterday the girls were palying with their friend so that gave me a little time to make a few cards.
For my card I followed the great sketch over at OCC. And over at the ROP-Challenge they ask you to use hearts on your card. Because they ask you to use certain brand of stamps I decided to use one of my Magnolia's. It's been way to long since I last used them. There are so many beautifull stamps out there, it's very hard not to buy them all.

Enjoy your day and see you all tomorrow with my DT-card for the new challenge over at the DDCC.

Sketch 40 on JCBC-blog

Hi everyone,
thank you for stopping by today. I hope you all had a nice weekend. Overhere it's been busy with al kind of little things. Can't believe how fast you are adjusted to the normal things in life after your holliday.
Between washing, cleaning, ironing and keeping the girls busy I managed to make my DT-card for this weeks challenge on the Just Christmas and Birthdaycards Challenge.
This week I was the lucky girl to provide the sketch and I hope you like it.
For my card I used papers from Basic Grey - Bittersweet -. The cute stamp is from Bildmalarna and i coloured her with Copic Markers.
Paper flowers are from Prima and I bought the white organze flowers on Ebay.
White tab is made with a Stampin Up Punch.

Enjoy your day.

Hugs,

xoxo Karin

Flowers say hello from the heart

Hi everyone,
we got back yesterday from our holliday to a familypark near the Dutch coast and we had a fabulous time. The weather was great, our cottage was situated at the harbor so we had felt like we were in a sub-tropical country. We did do a lot of fun things so the week was over before we knew it. I did take my lap-top and some crafting supplies but I didn't had time for any of those things. the only time we spend in our cottage was at night and then I was to tired to do anything.
Couldn't use the lap-top because we didn't have internet access overthere, so I probably will spend whole weekend behind it catching up on everything.
This weeks challenge on the Dutch Dare Cards Challenge is to use cutting dies and/or punches.
This is what I came up with.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.

Sketch #38 at JCBC blog

Goodmorning everyone,
after a very hot week, the temperatures have dropped to a normal level (23C).
Today it's the first day of the vacation and I'm taking the girls to a playground today. The weather forcast tells that there will be rain the next few days so we have planned this trip for today.
At the Just Christmas and Birthday cards challenge we have a great sketch for you to follow. This week I had to create a christmas card, which isn't easy when a icecream turns into a milkshake within a few minutes with those high temperatures.
For my card I used papers from Scenic Route, cute Hanglar images from the winterkit and some cute stars from a Dutch local shop called Zeeman.
We we're off to the playground.
Thanks for stopping by today,
xoxo Karin

Scrap Online Challenge

Happy Friday everyone,
it's still very hot overhere (31C in the shadow). Yesterday afternoon I bought the girls a large pool, and they are having so much fun in it. This morning at 8.30 AM they already had their first swim.
I think I will join them after doing this post.
Last night we had another fun SOL at Scrap Online Challenges on PCP.
Because of the high temperatures I kept it very simple.
For my card I used papers from S.E.I. and cardstock from Color Core.
Cute little Gretel is a download from CC-designs. I coloured her with aqua pencils and used paperstumps and sansodor for blending. Sentiment is also from CC-designs.
Leavepunch is from??? and flowers and brad are from stash.
The sketch of this card posted as a challenge on Scrap Online Challenge so all you ladies can create a card following it.

I'm going to join my girls in their pool right now and try to cool down a little bit.

Have a great weekend,

xoxo Karin

Dutch Dare Challenge #55: a sketch by Cathy

Happy Thursday everyone,
today is my last day of quietness. Starting tomorrow the girls will be home for 6 weeks. So I probably will have to slow down on crafting and blogging, because we have planned some fun things for the girls during those 6 weeks. And with those abnormale high temperatures I really don't think I will be up for crafting very much.
Starting this week we will be posting a new challenge on the Dutch Dare Challenges every other week. So this weeks challenge will stay up for 2 weeks. Gives you plenty time to create a card following a great sketch provided by Cathy.

Before I will leave you all, I wanted to show you a photo of our ADHD Jacky cooling down in a small tub (we have a very small garden). When we start filling it with water she's the first one in it and the last one to leave. The girls put in some toys and Jacky will get them all out, and this repeats itself several times.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great Thursday.

Sketch #38 on the JCBC blog

Hi everyone,
I hope you all are enjoying your week sofar. Overhere it's very hot and I try to stay cool/relaxed by doing just the most important things. Even sitting behind my computer makes me sweat. The best thing to do is to sit on the couch doing really nothing.
When I turned on my computer this morning and wanted to prepare my post for tomorrow I saw that I completely forgot to make a post about the new challenge on the JCBC blog. This week we have a great sketch provided by Janina.
For my card I used papers from Imaginisce and Papcicolor. The cute image is from Pink Cat Studio and flowers are from Prima.
Thanks for stopping by today,
xoxo Karin
