Goodmorning everyone,
Thursday already and for me it's weekend. So far this has been a 'normal' week.
No one's sick, no big cleaning projects and the girls are very easy going the last couple of days.
The only person that I'm very worried about is my mum. Some of you know that both my parents didn't have much luck with their health the past 1 1/2 year. My dad is doing pretty fine considering the circumstances. But my mum is a completely different story. She's didn't feel
a 100 % one single day in the past 1 1/2 year. She's been in the hospital for about 6, 7, or 8 times (I really can't remember how many times, but when the girls can find grandma's room in the hospital with their eyes closed it must have been a lot).
If I had to make a list of all the things she suffered and all the medicine she's still has to take to keep everything under controle it would be the biggest post I ever made. Right now she has the flu for the 6th or 7th time in 3 months. All of this is affecting her so much, it's a big surprise she's not in a very big depression. The most frustrating thing for me is that there's nothing I can do to help her with this. The only thing I can do is pray for some nice weather with better temperatures so she can go outside a bit more. With these temperatures she's very affraid to go outside, so she's only outside to get some groceries and that's pretty much it. Because she is at home so much I gave her my aqua pencils and a lot of stampprints to colour. She doesn't have any goodies to make cards so I'm trying to cheer her up a bit by making little packages with papers, flowers, ribbon brads etc. I told her that when she's finished her first card I would publish it on my blog. So ladies, stay tuned for my mums first piece of art!
Sorry to have bothered you with my worries, but it's something that keeps me really very busy.
Now for the more fun things in life.
Over at the Dutch Dare this weeks theme is to make a THANK YOU card.
I received a beautifull RAK package from my good friend Donna a few weeks back with a lot of goodies perfect for this card. It's one of the rare times I didn't use a stampprint as the main image of my card.

Thanks for stopping by today,

xoxo Karin
