Sketch # 27 on the JCBC blog

I'm a day late with my DT-card for the Just Christmas and Birthday cards challenge.
Last week Britt brought home a very time comsuming gift from school... LICE!!!!
I've been washing and cleaning eversince. Unbelievable how much work it is to fight those little monsters. I have to vacuum clean, clean our beds, the towles and our clothes everyday, and I have to check our hair 2 to 3 times each day. At the end of the day I'm so very tired I don't have the strength to do any crafting. But it seems we are going to winn this battle (just a few eggs can be found on our heads) so that gives me time to craft again.
Janina made a perfect sketch for someone with almost no time for crafting.
The papers were a gift from a good friend so I can't tell you from which brand. The stamp is from Whipper Snapper and the buttons are from stash.

Thanks for stopping by today,

xoxo Karin

Hi Karin, gosh you've been having a hard time! Lice seem to be making a big comeback here too, I'm convinced its got worse since they got rid of the 'nit nurses' over here, we used to get our heads checked once a month when I was little by the school nurse. Great card, such a good image. Hugs Dawn Marie.xx

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I have heard that coconut shampoo and conditioner helps keep away the lice. I have no idea if it is true. Cute card!

Great card and cute image. Love the colour combo.

Hope you are rid of those "creatures" really soon. I have sat here reading your post scratching away merrily. Just mention the word nit/lice and that's me scratching my scalp away ! !
