Our Creative Corner

Birthday cards and Christmas cards. You can't seem to have enough of them. I'm always late creating those two type of cards. On the 'Happy Birthday' Blog we have 36 ladies, sending each other birthdaycards, and with family and friends added to those 36, I think I need about 90 Birthday cards each year. And with all the Christmas cards I have to send this year, I think I need to get me someone for housekeeping.
Am I the only one who's always starting late with this or am I not so different from all of you?
--------
I'm going to set myself a goal: from now on I will create 1 birthday card, and 1 christmas card every week. If you want to join me in this challenge, please send me an email, and we can help each other reach that goal.
-------
So today I've finished my first birthday card.
The sketch used is on Our Creative Corner.
The papers are from EK-Success (Stacy Clair Boyd), the polka dots are made with the Cuttlebug.
The sentiment is made on the computer.

Thanks for stopping by.

xoxo Karin

Hi Karin and it looks like you've made a fantastic start with your challenge! Gorgeous image, lovely colouring and I do LOVE orange so that paper catches my eye. I understand about never having enough cards, I think my problem is most of the cards I make aren't really suitable for most of the people I send to LOL!!!! Try and figure that one out, I'm sure you know what I mean. Good luck with it anyway. Chris xxx

Gorgeous card Karin and love the cute and beautifully coloured image and the dp and embossing looks fab too. I know what you mean and I have trouble making enough cards too, Like Chris said some of the cards I make aren't suitable for the occasion so I too end up making them last minute, Hugs, Nikki x
